back online, woohoo!
Hey.
I'm *finally* back online! It's been a crazy two weeks, and we're still not unpacked, but it's slowly starting to feel almost like we're home. It's nice to have cable and internet and a fridgey full of groceries again. :)
Moving was easier than I thought it would be, but rough because we moved when it was 95 degrees outside. I felt all sweaty and sore for a few days. It's still hot here, but not as bad as it was when we moved.
Work was ok. I have had to learn some new things, but mostly it is the same stuff I knew before. Everyone has been pretty nice to me, but I miss my old coworkers. I had to go back to WY on Monday to finish cleaning out our old apartment, and I stopped by the old work to pick up a few things. In the week since I had left there, the cash office lady's husband had a heart attack, one service desk lady got engaged, and another one's husband/boyfriend/whateverhewas died. I was happy for the one lady and sad for the others, it was a lot of stuff to hear all at once.
Joe is really liking his new job. I think he has taken really well to being the boss. He is really excited because the big bosses have already let him implement little ideas he has had. He's still got a lot of work to do to get the store to where it should be, but he likes it there and I think his crew likes him too. He says he is less stressed and sleeps better since he moved here.
It's nice here, very quiet, and pretty too. We've taken pictures but my computer is being stupid so I don't have them quite yet. Soon hopefully.
Well, that's all for now. I should be getting to bed because I have work early in the morning! Tootles.
