Hey.
It's been a long week. Joe has been sick since Monday night. He took Tuesday off of work, and had Weds. and Thurs. off. He went back to work tonight, but I know he still had a headache this morning. He is better than he was though.
I've been working lots. It's been a hineyload of customers at the service desk. For the most part, though, people have been very courteous. I had one lady call me rude because I walked in front of her cart. Granted, I *was* going fast, but I didn't cut her off or even make her slow down, and I even said "Sorry!" as I was walking by. I was in a bit of a hurry, as I usually am at work, but I never cut anyone off in the middle of an aisle or something, and I am always quick with the apologies as I blur past someone. *shrugs* Maybe she was just having a bad day.
Finally got most of my Christmas cards out today! But I still don't have current addresses for a lot of my friends, so if you want a card peoples, feel free to email me your address so I can mail you a spifftacular holiday card, full of love, and possibly crumbs if I am eating whilst writing, for me to you. :) (my email is pootoyoutoo@hotmail.com, make sure to put your name or something familiar as the title of the email so I don't think you're junk mail and delete you. :) )
I got a package from #2 today! Two little presents inside, wrapped with bitty bows on top! Pretty! I have a good idea of what they are since I had talked to her previously. :) But they have to wait 10 days to be opened!
No presents under the tree yet. The Joseph is like a little kid and will try to open them early. Best to hide the presents till closer to Christmas. I made him promise not to open *ANY* presents before Christmas Day, because I wouldn't allow it. I told him that if I did allow it then I was a liar, and then God fully has my permission to brain me with lightning. :) So far, that's enough to make him behave.
(Although, I don't much like the idea of braining by lightning. Sounds most unpleasant.)
Ooh! One good thing about work. Whoever wanted to could enter an ornament decorating contest. Winners get $20 in their next paycheck, and all votes (votes are $, 1 cent = 1 vote) going to charity. So I will have to throw some change in to vote for my own ornament, even though I know it won't win, hehe. :) I used stickers to put on a snowman, snowballs, and stars on mine, and then I painted a little work vest on the snowman. :) Some people said that they liked it, but there were so many that were way better than mine. Some people have an astounding amount of creativity. Voting starts tomorrow, I think, so I will have to search the couch for loose change! :)
Well, not much going on. It was a warm day, but the rumor is that it might snow tomorrow! Whee!
tootles.
