so yesterday was pretty kickass.
i hung out allllllll day with lauren. we had never really hung out before or talked outside of art history class or on aim...but it ws fun! we get along so well. i heart her.
so we shopped and talked and shopped and talked. and my sister chain smoked. and lauren bummed some ciggies off her. and we shopped. and then talked. and then ate lunch. but first we had coffee. but at lunch my sis used a fake ID to get a cosmo and got away with it...which causes me to lose some of my respect for humanity but also give my sis some props for not getting caught and arrested.
and today....i went to magazine street again...and then the quarter in search of po boys. i figure i am an almost vegan and if i am going to eat some fish...well i better go broke.
and i did.
i had a dressed fried shrimp po boy. what does dressed mean you ask? dressed means everything on it. yes...thats right...the almost vegan had fried shrimp on french bread wiht lettuce, tomatoes, tatar sauce, mayo and ketchup wiht a side of fries.
um. i think i just ate a heart attack.
and who would've thought that it was more than two slices of bread? crazy. craziness i say.
i was gonna hang out wiht lauren today...but she and friend got into a fight and she's in a not so much hanging out mood- which i totally understand...so im thinking bout borrowing my 'rents yukon (like a surburban but cheaper) and driving down the street to teh bead shoppe (which may or may not be open) and making some necklaces cos it beats sitting around here at home when no one's online.
but bottom line. im having a blast in new orleans. its good to be back. and lauren is soo cool! i think i may come up again some weekend before mardi gras (im coming up for all of mardi gras)
