Reblogged from Tumblr...spread the word?
Hey LJ, you see those two adorable children?
Well, they’re possibly facing the death sentence.
Along with their mother.
Dr. Feras Alkhudari is a good man and dedicated neonatal doctor (doctors that work with sick newborns). He, his wife, Dana, and two children, age 1 and age 4, are ALL U.S. citizens. However, while he was doing his fellowship at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, his wife’s visa was revoked while she was visiting her parents overseas with their two young children. Why? They have no idea, and no one will give them an answer. “It’s been 8 months of begging everybody, senators, congressmen, attorneys, department of state, everybody you can think of to solve this issue. So far with no luck. While we understand the necessity to keep U.S safe and we want it to safe for us and for everybody else including your kids and our kids, we totally comply with the law of immigration and never had broken any law, we are sure there’s a mistake here.”
Dana and her two children, Masa and Rayteb, are now stuck overseas and have no contact with Dr. Feras. The catch is, if Dana’s not granted a visa to comeback, she, Masa, and Rayteb, are sent back to Syria and face the death sentence.
PLEASE LJ, I’m begging you, just spread this around, get the word out! He’s a good man who dedicated his life to saving children and get can’t even save his own. He’s contacted everyone he could, including immigration officials and they said they have no power to help.
No power to help a family who is facing the death sentence!?
At least like this so I know he has your support. Or reblog it to SPREAD THE WORD. Even if the local news catches on, that is major support that is much needed.
If you could, go to his facebook page “Bringdanabacktous” and like it.
