my oh my i forgot i had this thing. eems as though i haven't posted since i quit six flags in the yesteryear...here's what's new.
-i work at pride, the not so sexiest of gas stations.
-i went to HCC, withdrew (fancy-pants term for dropped out), and if all goes well i'm transferring to UMass boston where in a perfect setting i will major in english, minor in history or music, and play soccer if i still remember how to kick the fuckin ball. This summer will be devoted to learning how to do it again lol.
-i smoked weed for the first time (if i had a dollar for the ammount of times i've said i wouldn't i'd be sewing stitch ((i'm speaking cockney now?)) but that's in the past) that was fun while it lasted but it's not for me....good times though lol.
-I have about 3 good friends right now, one of which is going into the army and i'm gonna kick the crap out of him. i made the stupid mistake of losing my best friend and i'd do anything to take some really corny things i said back, and steps towards that will be made, sharpish.
-I think the last time i wrote something in here i was still in my hardcore/metal phase or w/e. that's out the fuckin stained glass window thank god lol. lately i've been listening to alot of indie and lo-fi stuff mixed in with folk both new and old (nick drake, elliott smith, iron and wine, damien rice, alexi murdoch, look them up their cool). most of the stuff i hear hones from portland and other parts of the northwest. i'm writing mainly acoustic stuff right now...it's lame lol.
-i can't seem to unsingle myself, shucks man. i can't seem to stop meeting retarded superficial women. i think there was something in the water circa '90 in this burg.
-i've been reading alot of stuff from alot of Beat authors and stuff that was influenced by it or influenced it i.e. salinger, burroughs, kerouac, pynchon. really really out there but awesome nonetheless
-i've rediscovered my once fevered passion for football (soccer;american football's dumb so i'm taking the name back) and have started following and supporting the Revolution again, as well as looking across the pond to the FA leagues and all sorts of european what not. matt sean and i can be found almost nightly playing FIFA 06 and my life is a bit more dull cuz of it. But i couldn't be more stoked with Beckham sailing over to LA. i fucking hate the galaxy but this will be awesome for the game in the states and i can't wait for MLS this year, or to see that geezer play.
-on a football related note, watch green street hooligans, something else i've rediscovered since it came out two years ago and it's a fucking great movie about football firms in england.
-I go to Boston almost weekly now and it's my second home and making it my first will be swell.
that's all for now kids.
cheers'
