RL with Nasuti (Though she may not know it yet)

[It was exciting to be meeting Shuten without the usual virus tainting their interactions. She'd be getting to see his world and learn out more about his life. Just knowing it was all still new to him and he was still paving it...it was nice to be part of it

[Nasuti was, as usual, working late. She knew she'd get an earful about it in the morning by someone, but when you're in front of a computer, and you're home alone, distracted by the constant back-and-forth of the community, well...time gets away from you

[The figure was obviously female. Long brown hair was made black by the darkness and while her entire shape was hard to make out, it would have had to be a pretty small man.

When she spoke, a feminine voice confirmed it.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be here! [That sound very far fetched, even to her own ears. Why would a stranger believe it.]

...Are you a friend of Shuten's?

[Nasuti quickly pushed herself away from the desk, turning her back towards the computer to block the screen's contents.]

How did you get in? [Nasuti reached back to grope around for the switch to the computer screen, and flipped the display off as soon as her fingers came across it.]

[How did this girl know Shuten? Ah, well. Better to get the 'more important' question out of the way, first.]

[A fair question.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you...I was trying to visit a friend and I ended up here.

[She couldn't talk about worldhops easily. To most people, that would sound crazy. Having shown up in her house in the middle of the night already took care of that.]

[Setting down the pen tentatively, Nasuti tugged the sash of her robe tighter to make sure it was fastened around her nightgown. The woman didn't seem threatening.]

Visiting a friend..? You mean, like in a world-hop? [Nasuti wasn't stupid, nor was she a stranger to having visitors. Up until this point though, they had been intentional visits, and from people in her own existence. This is the first she'd seen that was accidental.]

[She takes a small step forward, obviously relieved to hear the word. It meant she was from the community.]

Yes, a world hop! I was suppose to visit Shuten.

[This girl knew him too. She'd already met Shin...]

Are you Nasuti?

[Nasuti blinked a few times, feeling her cheeks flush at the mention of her name. This girl knew Shuten? She as going to visit him? At a time like this--er, that?]

Yyyyes. Yes, I'm Nasuti Yagyu. [She cast her eyes down to the side, fixating on the antique lamp to her right.]

It seems that perhaps they didn't send you far back enough...he's still a few months ahead of me.

[She nods. Then she had been right...this was the one Shuten had mentioned being from his world but not his time.]

I'm sorry to wake you. I was so surprised to be here and then to see his armor...

I'm Roze. It's nice to meet you.

[Nasuti still wasn't entirely sure how this girl knew her name, but she was going to be friendly, regardless. She had no reason not to be--the intrusion was clearly an accident.]

Sorry for the trouble, Roze. [Nasuti rubs her palms on the front of her robe, glancing one over her shoulder.] It's fine, I should've have been asleep...

You're a...friend of Shuten's? [She knew of his armor, so she was curious just how deep this friendship ran.]

[She nods, her eyes going to the monitor before remembering she had shut it off. She remembered that armor well, even down to how it felt.]

Yes, we met through the community. He's mentioned that you recently came there.

[yagyu_nasuti]

I see. [C'mon Nasuti, you could be a little more forth-coming than that. Besides, why so surprised? You saw that post Shuten made just like everyone else did. That's probably why...]

I suppose I am still kind of new...[It felt like she'd been here for some time; but then again, when you interact with someone you haven't seen in months...someone who you didn't expect to ever see again...time starts slipping.]

[Nasuti looked up to the woman in her living room. Sure, she had plenty of questions for her, but none that were even the slightest bit appropriate. 'What were you visiting him for?' 'What sort of relationship do you have with him?' 'How do you know his armor?' - none of those were necessarily small talk.]

Well, you weren't that far off, if it's any consolation. But I guess you only get one round trip at a time, huh?

[She nods hesitantly.] Are you alright? I know it has to be a surprise to see someone in your home and I would be shocked too...but is that all?

[She had been asleep in a strange place. Maybe she wasn't feeling well.]

[yagyu_nasuti]

[Nasuti nods, and holds up a hand to wave it in front of her face.] It's fine, you're not a youja so...[She chuckles.] I've learned not to take anything for granted as 'normal' anymore.

[...and when you start seeing dead people...]

The community has helped a lot in that regard, too.

[That's a concept she understands and she lets out a soft laugh as she thinks back to how her mind has changed.]

It can do that. After you believe in talking toys and animals, you can believe in anything.

But what is a youja?

[Nasuti recites the following like she's in the university giving a lecture.]

Youja - a play on the words youka and soldier, I have no doubt. They were evil spirits who served as Arago's army during the war between Tokyo and the Nether Realm.

[However, once she is done, she offers Roze a perplexed expression.]

However, part of me thinks that's not nearly as bizarre as...talking toys?

We have Woody and Dolly, though I haven't seen Dolly lately. There really are very many interest people to meet there.

Have you been alright, there? I know it can be dangerous too.
