I'm between my second and third years at Tisch NYU studying photography, and doing an internship in the photography section of Vogue for the summer. I've been taking pictures since my dad bought me a Polaroid camera when I was three (I still love Polaroids and carry one with me wherever I go, even though I shoot on mostly DSLRs now for school and stuff.)
(3) If you're the photographer, post the best picture you've taken to date. If you're the model, post the best picture taken of you. Or if it's just a personal interest, post your favorite picture.

I like photography, especially portraiture, because it gives me the opportunity to meet new people, and to show sides of them that they might not even know exist. I always let my models pose freely for me for awhile to "loosen up," and those are the shots that I usually end up keeping. I like seeing people as they see themselves, and capturing it so it lasts forever. But I also like the way we interact with our surroundings, so I try to take pictures not just in the studio, but all over the place, especially cities. Sometimes I do post in Lightroom or Photoshop, but I try not to alter the original image too much, because I really like getting a raw feeling out of my shot. So.... long story short (TOO LATE XD) photography means life, sometimes in its truest form.
