Damn man! I can't believe that ROONEY this band that I've liked since the O.C. came to SF and I didn't go. Now I'm realizing that I could have easily met them not just seen them in concert. How SAD! So I went to their website and I found out that they were having an instore performance and signing in the best buy on harrison in SF. I was so fucking close. How SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD. UGh. This is a lesson for me to do research when I like certain up an coming artists. Yeahhhhhhhh. Just like seeing M.I.A., I am definitely going to pay close attention to new music. Once they get big, its going to be a lot more expensive to see them so I might as well see them when they aren't and then duh, I've seen em' already. Does that even make sense?
Btw, I realized that the vocalist in Rooney is actually sonny the shark's son in The Virgin Suicides. He's cousins with the Coppola's which is also Nick Cage since that dummy changed his last name. haha. So imagine if I would have gone to this signing. I would have met a Coppola, seen them live, meet them, and it would have all been FOR FREE. Man. It is so much better to go to in store signings than concerts because its during the day, its crowded but its free so that takes care of it. So lame man. I was in the city at the same time. it makes me so sad. I just hope that they come to SF again before they are really really big. I mean they are already being voted on VH1 so it might get them bigger concerts which is good but I don't know. I'm so lost right now. I feel like eating pizza or sushi. I think I'm gonig to go out even though I didn't get much done from last nights fest of cleaning, Im about ready to jump in the shower and forget about finishing until reality sets in tonight.
