NEVER, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE GERMANS :D

I cannot even begin to speak of my indescribable joy. It wasn't meant to be this way, honestly. As much as I am a German fan, I half-doubted their ability to get past the Portuguese. But alas!, they have delivered, and once again reignited my passion for 'em ♥

The Germans really stepped up their Game this morning. They did all they had to, to keep Portugal at bay. (Though, really, the score should've been the other way 'round if it were in normal conditions, haha.) But nevertheless, it's hard not to admit that not only did Germany win, their goals were more beautiful and unstoppable, as compared to those of the Portuguese. I particularly liked Schweinsteiger's, 'cuz it was so dangerously done when he ran up out of nowhere :D (Did you catch the good play just before the goal? I could almost smell the goal coming.)

Another thing worth mentioning was that Jens Lehmann played well. I recall not another match when I praised Lehmann so much, which more than 3 times I said "Nice one, Lehmann" to the TV, haha. He was daring and confident, most importantly.

Portugal just kind of gave up halfway, when they were trailing. Everything went out of formation and play was very, very rushed. Ronaldo was well held down by Friedrich and, if not for the fact of Nani as a substitute to provide a fresh pair of legs as well as to work some of his usual magic, Portugal would've gone home in even more disgrace, with a score of 3-1.

I shared Ballack's joy, as well as Scolari's agony. Poor Felipe was like about to cry and die; he's always been one of the most emotional and expressive of all the coaches. It was especially nice to see Ballack smiling just after his goal, 'cuz he'd never looked much happier the whole Season :D

Right, I couldn't find a EURO 2008 photo ):

And this is why you don't doubt the German Will, srsly :D

The match was soooo exciting/good/nice/cool that I just had to watch it twice. HAHAHA.
