Am feeling good 'cuz I just came back from watching KFP with Sarah, Terence, Michelle and Eleanor :D (Pok, Eleanor doesn't remember me from this Children's Camp that was ages and ages ago! But I still remember her after all these years, leh. Then how? Hahaha.)
Terence and I were so shocked when we found out that the movie was about "AWESOMENESS"! :D :D That is so my word and now the title of my post is so the new tagline of my life. Hahaha. ♥♥
Sarah: What's the noun for "awesome"?
Me: I don't know, "awesomity"? HAHA.
Terence: WHAAATTT?!
Sarah: Oh yah, "awe".
Me: -.- Sheesh.
Later, Terence was complaining about how I was suuuuper emotional about the whole movie 'cuz I was making all sorts of sounds :O And that sitting next to me was like having a - and I quote - "live commentary of the movie" 'cuz I'd make comments here and there. Gah! Maybe it's also 'cuz I was telling Sarah how freaky it was during the fighting scenes and she didn't reply so I thought she was dao-ing. Only after the movie did I find out the truth that she'd fallen asleep during the fighting parts 'cuz she claimed "I hate all the fighting scenes; they're so boring!" D: SO GREAT, I WAS TALKING TO A SLEEPING PERSON. NO WONDER. HAH.
PO THE PANDA OFFICIALLY REMINDS ME OF SAM TAN!! Like, everything about the Panda is Sam Tan-ish and when I'd told Sam about it he called me "another Lydia Khoo"! ('Cuz Lydia has been going around taking photos of the movie posters and what-not, claiming Po reminds her of Sam ttm!) D: But still, I don't think the big fat Po with his awesome belly is the nicest character!
rehpinuj likes Mantis but I think Master WUGUI is the coolest Dude everrrr! He's like, so old and wrinkly and wise and kind and he's my favouritest :D
Okay, now to recount the stuff that happened this morning!
Amazingly I managed to wake for 8.30 Service :D But that's prolly 'cuz I'd crashed much earlier the previous night. (The reason for this will be explained later in another post.) So I took the bus to Church alone! YES, SMBR (Sunday Morning Busrides) MY FAVOURITE!! :D Was at the Interchange so superbly early that I decided to walk to Church instead and even then I reached at 0815h. Hah.
Sermon was good; I think the guest Pastor's style is soooo refreshing. I've learnt a lot about how it's not the "best life" we should be aiming to achieve, but rather one that is Christ-centered. So it was cool, overall. And just knowing that God provides is like :D Trials cultivates patience in us; patience perfection. It's just so that He can present us holy and blameless before Himself. What an awesome God :D
After Service we went for YD breakfast at Macs! Debbie and Xinyan bought us breakfast :D And because of this, Julia and Joey said both of them are on their way to becoming part of the "babes list". Hneh? :O So you can buy your way onto that list, la? :O :O HAH. We half-celebrated Joey's birthday :D (It's in 3 days!) Shermaine was complaining about how we'd stuck the "Happy Birthday" thing into her McMuffin, hah.
Julia is sad 'cuz Joey refuses to come into the photo, LOL. (Joey's on her left, by the way.)
Awh, we haven't had a YD photo in some time, not to mention a nice one! :D :D
In the afternoon, Children's Camp Committee had Comm Lunch! :D Pity Serene and Peter couldn't join us, though ): So we couldn't take a proper Comm photo!
Mabel forgot to bring the cash and actually it's kind of my fault for not having reminded her the day before. Ugh, oh well. Anyway, we went to Sakae and each person had a budget of about $20. Shermaine and I were complaining about how stuffed we already were from breakfast ): So we couldn't eat much. Ordered a bit of food then had DESSERT! The portion's like, super mega-ultra crazily tiny and it cost $5.99 oh what in the world? When we checked out the dessert menu we were both like, "Whoaaa, so expensive. No wonder we never ever ordered it before!" Hah, more like, our parents never ever let us knew about such items on the menu! D:
The table I was at had Val, Dng, Sam and Shermaine. We're the cooler table 'cuz we were talking about random crap, whilst Charles' table was engaging in some crazy serious stuff. Like, Church Camp and Charles' usual debates about everything under the sun that actually sounds cheem! (Ah well, what to expect from a Hwachong-er?)
Ugh, okay the Comm photo Job took using my camera is the ugly one ): Sam's got the nice one but for photo's sake I'll just post this up! D:
Val and I went to steal food from off the conveyor belt at the opposite side 'cuz the dishes there looked cooler :D :D Hah. I don't have many photos and some others are in Sam's camera. WE HAVE THE SAME LUMIX WHICH IS LIKE, SO RANDOM BUT IT'S COOL SO I'M MENTIONING IT!
After lunch I left for the movie :D (And the whole post starts again so I guess it makes sense now, eh?)
And so that sums up my Sunday so far, ho hum! I've to get going for my Dad's Father's Day Dinner now. I think we're going to Millenia Walk.
