I dunno, I actually liked this chapter. Then again I don't have the same criteria for KHR as I have for, say, any of Naoki Urasawa's work. (VERY cerebral stuff, great artwork, great characters, great drama. Major titles are Pluto, Monster, and 20th Century Boys)

That said, I still hope this doesn't turn into the plot Psyren is already using (we know about the future, we have to fix the past...past fixed...why does future now like THIS?!...we have to re-fix past...)

I guess I do have higher standards for KHR than most shounen. I blame Amano for building them up via her consistent use of amazing crack and bizarre-yet-strangely-logical plot twists. :P After all of that, it seems like a letdown, even though I guess I should have expected this kind of thing.

Yeah, time-traveling worked well for this arc, but I hope we get a break from it after this.

If there's any more time-traveling, I vote that it's got to be to the past. :x

I SUPPORT THIS. Though I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a Government Arc, personally. :D

I was pretty underwhelmed by this. :( Byakuran, what gives? You can't flashback right before your anticlimactic defeat.

...though honestly I'm just going to be so happy to see this arc go that I almost don't care how it goes. Enough is enough! I've been checking my watch waiting for Byakuran to buy the farm & all this nonsense to see itself through for, um. Many, many months. Pick up the pace, KHR.

Pile of reaction shots was great, though you're right about Gokudera. Aaand...I loved Mukuro's the best. Because he looks somewhat alarmed, but it' very subtle & Mukuro-ish, so it sort of looks like either he's sorry about Uni & Gamma's sacrifice or he locked his keys in his car.

Ditto. It was all very abrupt and anticlimactic. I wanted him to have a more fabulous end.

But I do agree that it's about time this arc got to this point. Hopefully the epilogue will be a little more satisfying, and afterward we can finally go on to the next arc.

Heh, yeah, that's about as much emotion as we've ever gotten from him, and it's still incredibly vague. XD Oh, Mukuro.

2. And I just LOVE how Byakuran is blaming Tsuna for the death of Uni.(Because Byakuran destroying all the known universes had nothing to do with it...) Can you say "denial ( ... )

2. He had to get in one last moment of extreme dickishness, after all.

4. Well, seeing as the entire cast was apparently in love with Uni, I guess it was inevitable that Gamma's death was more or less unnoticed. XD Poor guy.

9. What's more, they seem to think of it all as a game too, it seems. They're like walking, talking plot engines. "Let's give this guy a ring to make him a super-powerful bad guy, that should make for interesting times." BUT WHY.

10. Yeah, that was really way too anticlimactic.

omg I cracked up at the reaction shot page.

UNI'S DEAD? SOMEONE ACTUALLY DIED? IN REBORN? WHERE PLOTS ARE BUILT AROUND DEATHS THAT NEVER ACTUALLY OCCURRED, THEREBY ROBBING THE ENTIRE ARC OF ITS EMOTIONAL SIGNIFICANCE IN FAVOR OF TRITE SHOUNEN SAVE THE WORLD ANTICS? HA HA I'LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT :'D

Well, the'll go back in time, and Uni will be alive again.
And I guess so will be Byakkun :)

I cannot wait until the anime finally gets to that point, and we are treated to a five-minute long montage of EVERYONE'S FACES, ONE AFTER ANOTHER. "D:! D:! D:! D:! D:! D:!" And so on until the audience is so lost in hysterics that any and all emotional significance from the previous moment is ruined forever.

YAMA'S DAD IS STILL DEAD I THINK?? And I'm pretty sure Gamma at least is actually dead. Uni still remains to be seen; she might be reincarnated, but that's not quite the same as not dying. But hey, if she does end up coming back, I certainly won't complain. XD

While it (might) be the end of that fight with the Milefiore, I feel she has something up her sleeve with the whole rebirth stuff.

Byakuran just couldn't resist a little "kick then pet the dog" moment. Still hope he's gonna come back slightly less dickish in the past

/sigh

Maybe, maybe. Although at this point, part of me actually does hope that there are no more twists planned, and the Arcos will just come back to life and Tsuna-tachi will say their goodbyes and finally head back home already. If we're going to get such an anticlimactic finale, the least Amano can do is make it brief. XD

I hope he does too. Even though Shouichi said that if you kill one Byakuran, you kill them all, he didn't mention if it applied to the current timeline only or not. I'd like to see a younger, less evil Byakuran when they all head back. He is the only villain Tsuna's actually killed, after all, and if Xanxus and Mukuro got second chances, it's only fair that he get one too.
