The next morning we woke up bright and early, packed everything up, checked out of the hotel and headed for breakfast which was noodles and fishball soup. The fishballs were so awesome! After crashing for awhile in the afternoon, the both of us woke up feeling rather hungry so we went to this food court for mee sotong as recommended by Horny and Suan. It’s located somewhere nearby Fort Cornwallis and the old KDU campus apparently.

I just came back last night from a mini road trip to Ipoh, Penang and Taiping with the Man Friend and it just involved so much food and so much eating, I feel like I’ve gained 2kg from the past 2 days alone. We make it a tradition to go out for a nice dinner on someone’s birthday every year, so this year we went to Kobe Jones, arguably one of the better Japanese fine-dining restaurants in Melbourne, for Jun Wei’s birthday, before his party at JWOW.
