[There is some amount of commotion when the video feed comes on. Presumably because the gear had been set hastily aside to deal with the source of it. The interior of a pokemon center can be seen, and just out of sight of the camera there's a flailing of purple and pale blue.
If the soundtrack for this scenario had to be described it would sound like shrill warbling in two-part harmony with an undertone of "What are you doing? Stop that...!! I don't have the time for--" in a female alto.
Belphe steps into view, presumably to intervene...but a moment too late. The warbling winds down and a smallish blue and white egg rolls into view, trailed after by what looks to be a purple Altaria with beady black eyes, standing over it's work with some degree of smugness. As it and the middle sister stare each other down, the Altaria loses shape, reverting back to it's gelatinous form with an audible schloop!.]
Di-tto! ['the pokemon snorts, crossing it's nubby little "arms" as if saying 'That's what you get'. This ditto doesn't even belong to her...it turned up one day in the filing room looking lost and sad. After leaving it a few treats so it would stop whimpering, it had seemed to come to expect handouts and turned up whenever she came near a pokecenter's PC. Whether it was following her incognito on her travels or had figured out how to use the trading stations for fast-travel to it's own benefit was anyone's guess. And apparently it had taken her lack of presence as of late personally. Somewhere in the background, a guilty-looking Altaria hops into view, eying his trainer and the egg as his cirrus wings swarm about himself protectively. He's not sure if there's about to be a storm or not, but better to be safe than sorry.]
I had things to do... [Belphe begins, her voice low and calm as it usually is, but holding an edge it would not ordinarily have] I'm sure that you can understand priorities change from time to time.
[The ditto makes a noise of indignation and then shifts its shape once again, carefully, painstakingly taking on the form of a miniature humanoid. In fact, it looks a lot like a little beady-eyed Belphegor, laying down in a comfortable recline and snoring loudly. As if to say, she wasn't busy playing nursemaid to two zombified people and catching shedinjas or anything, CLEARLY she spent all this time sitting on her butt.
And...yeah, that seems find what little fumes are left in her near-bottomless tank of tolerance and burn them up in short order]
Kyaaaaaa...!! [Her walls of composure crumble for a minute as she makes a grab for the little smartass, though its already scooting behind the front counter out of reach with a parting raspberry. And it's a damn good thing Nurse Joy picked that moment to come back from her coffee break, or it might have learned the hard way it would take far more than a desk to stop an angry stake. Nurse joy takes a brief inventory of the hiding ditto, the Altaria standing over an egg, and the exasperated trainer all in her midst before clearing her throat]
Is there...a problem here?
... ... ... ... [Belphegor takes in a deep breath, letting it out slowly as she straightens herself]
No problem at all. I would like to have my pokemon admitted for an examination to see if he can be relied on for travel if I were to teach him Fly.
Oh! Okay! That shouldn't take long. [Joy smiles, sliding a clipboard in Belphe's direction with the usual admittance forms to fill out] ...though I hope you don't need to go anywhere immediately,. If he just bred, he should rest for awhile. Eggs take a lot out of some pokemon.
[...if she'd possessed any less self control, her forehead would have met the desktop] Thank you... [the middle sister mutters, taking the clipboard under her arm, and scooping up her 'gear as an afterthought as she makes her way to one of the waiting area's empty seats to plunk down into and begin filling things out. The camera's new vantage point from the crook of her arm makes it pretty easy to see sleep is not something she's gotten a lot of lately...which would make ANYONE cranky, but doubly so if you happen to be Sloth. There's a few minutes of her writing until it times out]
shaman,
belphe,
goddamn dittos,
