[A newly-hatched eevee sprawls happily on it's back in Belphegor's lap, it's little fluff of a tail wagging as nubby paws reach out eagerly toward seemingly nothing. It's as if the little creature is fascinated by each and every dust mote it sees drifting by.
Now and again, her hand drifts over, dodging artfully past the groping paws to offer the baby pokemon a bit of food, which it eagerly snarfs up.
Surveying the scene from nearby is a very SRS BSNS-looking houndour who glowers at the newest addition disapprovingly. This massive injection of cute is severely ruining the menacing factor he'd been trying to instill into Belphe's team since his arrival.
When the eevee has finally eaten it's fill, it gives a yawn and wriggles onto it's side, immediately going to sleep which prompts Belphe to carefully gather it up and lay it in a tuft of grass beside her. While the egg she had purchased from Rose hatching had been an agreeable distraction, it had been, nonetheless, a distraction from the task she'd set before herself.
