I haven't been updating lately because I haven't really been in the mood.
I've started uni and it's seems good so far. It feels good to have something to work towards. It feels good to challenge myself again. my subjects are:
-youth and society
-screen history and research
-islam in the modern world (i chose it because i thought it was different, and interesting, and relevant. And it has turned out to be very interesting, plus, the lecturer is a babe)
-intro to social enterprise (booooooooring but i think an easy pass)
I basically feel like passing out when it comes to group discussions/ group projects/ speaking up in tutes, but I've decided I have to stop being such a pussy and take a few risks.
I'm still trying to get a healthy sleeping pattern down. It's very frustrating.
I just finnished reading Johnathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Sussanna Clarke. It was fucking long. and it was too big to carry around with me. It took forever to finnish, when I was at the half-way point I almost gave up but i manage to push on, and I'm glad I did. Even though the book was sometimes hard to get through, it's hard not to admire how original, creative, and well-thought-out it is. A rewarding read.
I'm starting to read On The Road by Jack Karouac. I haven't gotten into it much yet but so far It's pretty much everything I expected.
