It is time for a personal bunk meeting. No one has to read this I just need to write to get some stuff out and said and reflect. I am depending way to much on Adam to help me out and I need to be more self sufficient. Im just worried because the real world is approaching me soon and I dont know what to do. I want to do so many things when I grow up. Like own a bakery, or be a teacher, or a therapist, or an architect. But I dont know which one to choose. And I know that I can do anything that I set my mind to and be good at it.. well almost anything but dancing and singing. But will I be able to stick with it if its not as rewarding? I dont know. I really dont know. And I find it scary starting off a new life in debt. I dont want loans bearing down on me, it just stresses me out.
And I need to reflect on City Year. Im starting to get the bags under my eyes that I got at UWC. Just the tired burnt out look and I dont know why. I love my job. There are aspects that I dont like of it, and it is a lot of responsibilty. I want to approve with all of my students. Little tweaks and things. Like teaching Christella how to think for herself or to care about someone else. Maybe establishing clearer boundaries with Marcus. Getting Josh to graduate college and done with him senior project. I really dont know what Im going to do with him. Teaching Harold multiplication. And also helping Azhumea with math and Lalonnee with physics. I wish I could help them all and have them be successful and that I could be competely focused all of the time. And it would be nice to work with Royal again. The last two times I got the chance to work with him, I couldnt really work with him since I was with other students. I also miss my elementary school kids. I havent seen then in two weeks due to Thanksgiving and then winter weather and team meetings and community days. So I am excited about seeing them again on Tuesday.
Well Im just going to go for a walk. To the grocery store I guess so I can just think and the cold air will feel good.
