That's it. That's definitely it. That's the last time I go to the E.R. on a Sunday night in excrutiating pain and miss a class the next morning cos I had four hours of sleep and still hurt. Cos I believe those factors have just assisted me in what I am about to do- fail a midterm.
I'm missing 3 hours of class experience and notes. Lovely.
At least it's multiple choice.
Of course, when you don't really know a damn thing about it in the first place... there's no common sense answer. I know Microsoft Word but I don't know the specifics of its tables, for God's sake.
Our regular teacher's wife is substituting and she's been pointing a remote at a non-responsive projector for the last fifteen minutes- and that's only when I got here. Who knows how long it's truly been going on.
Oh my Holy Lord, she made it work.
She'd better not give us a lesson. We have an 88-question midterm to take and I don't feel like setting up camp and living here or anything. You know what I mean. Plus she's got this shaky, woman's voice and you can't hear her over the hum of all the computers running. Some of them have fucked up fans and it's hard to concentrate anyway.
I have Writing for the Media tonight with Korbitz. Everyone who's already had her calls her "Korbitch". I sort of think she might think I am an okay student. But she will probably hate me forever because I missed that one class. Well, I'll learn my lesson tonight when I go to class and fail my second midterm :-P
I'm really worried about my Public Relations midterm. I can't even pass a regular in-class quiz. Actually, almost nobody can. The book makes no sense, and the test, if at all possible, makes less sense. At least we were given a take home quiz last time. I haven't even done it yet.
I don't have a midterm in Advertising, and that's probably a good thing because his tests make no sense.
Aw, I forgot to bring Katie her cookie. Goddamma.
No! No! No fucking way. This lady who had to call her husband on the cell phone to operate a computer is giving us a lesson on computers in Power Point.
It's going to be...
