we are gearing up to have an immense thunderstorm right now.. reminds me of summer. there's something very comforting about it, at least to know that i'm safe inside while it's raging around us.
tuesday's are typically my most hellacious, and today was no different. we did workshop on my poem in poetic forms, and for the first time, it felt poemy! they really seemed to like it, which was rather awesome. lisa thinks i should try to get it published.
after choir, i went to film an interview at an esl class, and fortunately, jared completely didn't turn the microphone on. so a pretty dec. interview is now sin sonido. which sucks. also, i sort of hate this class. a lot of things have been good, but i really can't stand the favoritism.
but. new favorite song: "limon y sal" by julieta venegas. yes, it's in spanish. yes, it's still really good (like ring-tone-purchase-worthy good).
and now, at the ripe hour of 2am, i have to do two workbook days for russian and then crash so i'll have enough energy to study for that arthur test tomorrow morning. joy.
