[ THIS IS NOT THE BLACK-HAIRED GLASSES GUY YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.. but Mikiya is passing by all the same on a walk. And she's sitting there so still, watching those glasses, so he almost can't just walk on and leave her alone. Especially not since he recognizes her. ]

It's more as if he's just leaving a silence, so no matter whether she doesn't or does want to talk, she can do it now. Or not. Then they can just sit there, but at least she won't have to sit there looking so lonely, he figures. ]

You mean.. that Shiki Tohno guy?

[ He thinks about it for a moment. He wasn't sure what kind of relationship those two had, but.. she had mistaken him for Shiki at first, and with the way she seemed upset now, they must have been pretty close. So he can understand. ]

I'm kind of glad he got to go home...but...I dunno having human feelings is weird.

It's okay. I understand a little. My own little sister Azaka was droned as well, and.. even though I'll miss her a lot, I know it's better for her to be home than stuck here.

There's nothing dumb about it. [ Even if the 'not human' part is weird, but.. well, more people here aren't human. His own not!kid has cat ears. ]

If you didn't have those feelings until you met him, then it's only more normal that you feel them now exactly because of them, right?

[ A weapon.. he doesn't know how that would work. Well, he's met plenty of.. strange people.. over the past few years due to his involvement with Shiki and Touko, so he can imagine it a little, but.. ]

No person can just entirely be a weapon, right? You're still a person, so of course you would have feelings just like anyone else.

No, I'm not a person.

I'm a vampire, created by the original vampires to kill the vampires who fell from grace.

In order to kill properly, I was created both without emotion and without the lust for blood the rest of them had. I was perfect...I guess...in a sense.

And then the serpent came along...but that's a story nobody else needs to hear. The problem is I'm not supposed to feel things like this...but I still do...and it's all because of that idiot. Now I don't think I could ever go back to the way I was before.
