[ She goes ahead and takes a seat next to Arcueid anyway. ]

[Arcueid looks up for a moment at Taiwan, then back down to the glasses in her hand.]

[ Maybe it's not such a good idea to be direct. ]

... It's pretty cold outside, isn't it? And soon it'll be winter...

The cold doesn't really bother me. I've spent a lot of time in it...

[Poor Arcueid doesn't really know how to make conversation right now.]

I don't really get much chance to enjoy it.

I dunno, to be honest I never really pay much attention to it.

The flowers are really pretty in the springtime. [ She doesn't lift her eyes away from the paper as she sketches. ] Do you have a favorite flower?

Not really. That's something that doesn't concern me...usually.

When do you plan on thinking about it, then? [ Laughs. ] On your wedding day?

Getting married is something humans do.

[ Draws a smile on the figure she sketched. ]

It's not as happy if you're going to out-live your mate no matter what.

Also, when you're instilled with a need to feed off of others...living with someone and trying to live a happy normal life are out of the question.

So, I'm not going to ever be getting married, and the act doesn't apply to me.

Living for centuries, watching the people you love leave you... it sounds like a curse, huh? But you know, I like to think of it as a blessing!

But...why do you see it as a blessing? That seems kinda dumb.
