[Arcueid suddenly looks as if Garviel just TOTALLY KILLED HER BUZZ.

She jumps down, landing gracefully in front of him and giving him a look between sheepish and kind of annoyed.]

I wasn't really myself at that point. I think I was droned or something, because I didn't even know what happened until I woke up the next day and kind of vaguely remembered everything.

Well...I understand you're not most men but usually guys tend to take on a different tone and mannerisms when talking to girls. It's noble that you don't...but sometimes it just gets a little weird.

You still have to watch how you act around us! I mean, all this doom and gloom and serious business stuff is fine but you'll never get a girl to like you like that! You've got to be a little more deep than that...you've got to show there's more to you than the grizzled warrior!

Not too much though, you don't want to take away the mystery!

What makes you think I want to get a girl? First of all, such things are not done, as an Astartes...

Second of all, I can't imagine there being more to myself than just being a warrior. All I want to do is serve humanity, and the Emperor.
