[After the events of Westport, Arcueid knows full well to never touch a glass of milk. The first time she had ever decided to drink the Milkman's milk had resulted in her ingesting an infinite amount of spiders...which promptly killed her

[Ami had barely ventured outside since the milk had gone bad-- if anything, she tried to sleep the day away as much as possible. To say she was on-edge would be an understatement.

So she steps out of her room with care, seeing the backs of her 'family' facing the TV when Arcueid speaks. They were barely acquainted, but something still seemed... off. She's confused for barely a second before the fear kicks in. She edges away.]

I... I'll pass.

[Arcueid still speaks from the kitchen, her voice still cheerful.]

Oh, you teenagers. Why don't you come in here and help your mother get dinner ready, then?

[She's obviously droned. Ami takes a few slow steps, not sure if she could get away with ignoring her.]

Did you drink the milk today, Arcueid-san?

[makemebreakfast]

Arcueidsan? Sweetie you shouldn't be calling your mother by her name it's just not proper, even if you mispronounce it.

[Arcueid suddenly steps slowly into the living room. In her hand is a knife that is caked with blood...but has also been very obviously utilized for cooking as well. She's gently wiping it off with a dishrag and smiling toward Ami.]

I don't know what kinds of strange games you are playing to get out of doing your chores, but I'm not falling for it this time! [She doesn't sound angry, only cheerful, like a mother who loves her daughter very much.]

Now come in here and at least help your mother set the table! You know how hungry your father gets.

[cameracrush]

[She tenses at the knife, and her peripheral catches red. The rest of the 'family' finally comes into her view. Her face blanches, breath catching instead of letting out a scream.]

I have to go. [She grabs for a lie, what a drone might say, trying to avoid sudden movements-- as much as she wanted to just run-- and backing away.] I'm meeting friends.

[makemebreakfast]

[Arcueid is now slowly approaching, the smile never leaving her face.]

Dear, what have I told you about making plans during family time? You can meet with them after you've eaten dinner, can't you?

[cameracrush]

[She pulls together a smile herself, a fake and nervous thing, but doesn't stop making her way to the front door with a bit more urgency.]

I-It's just for a minute, mom. I can pick up any ingredients you need too.

[makemebreakfast]

I can't let you do that, sweetie! It's time for dinner.

[Arcueid is approaching with just a bit more urgency...and boy is she fast.]

Now why don't you help your mother set the table?

[cameracrush]

I...

[Aaand Ami's delicate balance of her panic is finally overwhelmed. Can she actually outrun her crazed 'guardian'? No, but her survival instincts bolt her towards the door, swinging it open.]

[makemebreakfast]

[The drone doesn't really realize she has any special powers...but being a supernaturally powered drone does have it's advantages.

The moment Ami manages to get to the door, Arcueid will be upon her. Her hand wraps around the back of Ami's small, fragile neck as she pulls her back away from the door, far enough to see her not!mom's smiling face.]

Oh you teenagers are so rebellious! I'm afraid I am going to have to put my foot down on this one, dear. Sometimes children just need a little discipline. Just remember that mommy still loves you.

[cameracrush]

[She lets out a sound, some mix between a startled gasp and a cry, a hand of her own shooting up to scratch Arcueid's. When the two make eye contact, it's clear that Ami is frightened; she can't find the words to speak right away. 'I don't want to die', she considers, tears in the corners of her eyes.

But that's not how she wants to go. After a moment she lips move into a fine, grim line and she just glares. A beat passes.]

Screw you.

[makemebreakfast]

Aww, I love you too sweetie.

[Arc then buries her hand into the Ami's chest, squeezing the young woman's heart until it pops within her.]

[cameracrush]

[It, of course, kills her instantly. In a twisted way, maybe that was a mother's mercy. Before she has a moment to contemplate her death, she crumples over, lifeless.]
