[Arcueid will likely be spending most of her time at the Malt Shop in town, rewarding herself for getting her blood craving back under control again...she freaking LOVES malts.

[All that suave-ness is likely to turn into a headache with someone like Arcueid. She looks up at him, somewhat from the corner of her eye.]

Mmhmm. It's been awhile since I've left the house, so I figured I'd indulge a bit.

[He smiles, prepared to read and balance himself based on her responses. Patience, Ryo. Don't startle this one! Nice chit-chat, to start.]

It's always nice to leave the house! Though, Mayfield is a little harder to walk around in, considering how strange so many people act.

You think so? I don't think they act so strangely.

Just the drones I guess.

Yeah, the drones are pretty weird. I've never had to withstand so much... conservatism. Ever. How long have you had to deal with this town and it's weird events, anyway?

Oh, I've been here about three months so far.

[Arcueid takes a long draw of her Malt, thinking about that for a minute. Three months? Wow.]

How long have you been here? I don't think I've seen you around...or even heard your voice.

I've only been here for a few weeks--that damn event at Westport through me out of commission for a while though.

[His arms still had a few band-aids and bandages from it.]

Oh yea...that was kind of crazy.

Well, at least it's over now.

[Arcueid then moves back to nursing what's left of that malt. It's nearly gone, and it's almost assured she'll be ordering another one.]

I see... so you were trapped over there as well? Did you find out anything during your stay?

[He couldn't tell if it affected her deeply enough were a question like that would be difficult or not--if she showed fear or nervousness that was beyond the norm, he'd go ahead and drop the subject.]

[And she'll accept him paying for the next one...almost as if she were entitled to it? It's hard to say.]

Kind of, but not really.

I wasn't really paying attention to much that was going on over there...and apparently there was a lot.

I just survived as long as I could, which was kind of short in a human's body.

[He isn't too surprised that she insinuated she wasn't human prior to Mayfield--a lot of people seems to be as such. He smiles.]

And you're feeling okay I hope?

[Arcueid nearly dives into her fresh Malt when it's served, taking quite a long moment to reply to to his question.]

Mmhmm! I feel just fine! [The face she's making...it's so moe. She's likely trying to get him to keep the malts coming...or is she? Boy is it hard to tell.]

[Ryo smiled, and took her hand; there was an unusual twinkle near this eye.]

If that's the case, won't you join me for a much nicer lunch? Any restaurant you want, my treat.

[Arcueid continues to look at Ryo, that same moe-tastic expression locked on her face as if she's having trouble understanding.]
