maniakes is re-running a Call of Cthulhu Diceless game from last Polycon on Saturday, January 10 (this upcoming Saturday) at my place in San Jose starting at 1 PM. We're currently short one player. Anyone interested?
I've played in his diceless CoCs before and they're quite fun. It's not a LARP, but a good one-shot game where you'll be given a character sheet and need to know 0 math, dice or rules.

There's an old Spacer saying: "Beyond the orbit of Saturn, there is no
law. Beyond Uranus, there is no God." Strange things happen on the
depths of space, and even the most hardened of pirates rarely venture
far into the outer system. But a lot has changed in the last six
months.
Six months ago, the Interplanetary Transport Corporation was
nationalized, the great President Alexi Wang was assassinated, and a
military coup was put down when a pirate fleet and the Terrans joined
with the portion of the Spacer fleet which remained loyal to the
Federal Council. The Accords were ratified shortly after the Battle of
L2, and the pirates were offered amnesty. Most accepted, but the
holdouts have been driven further and further into the outer system.
You and four other pirate crewmen have been convicted of mutiny. Your
sentence is a lifetime of exile, and a rather short lifetime at that.
You've been deposited on an airless rock deep in the Kuiper belt, and
each of you has only an environment suit, three hours of oxygen, and a
pistol with one bullet. Unless you can find something on this
godforsaken rock to keep you alive or arrange a miraculous rescue,
your future looks bleak.
