April 2023 Empties :)
May has begun and so, here I am! Ready to report on my April empties.
I fully intended to write this post on the first day of May, but I had a cold and just took it easy for a week. Now that I am fully recovered... I bring to you my April Empties post!
Blue Marshmallow Bar 3 Wick Candle - Would I buy it again? Definitely! This has become one of my ultimate favorite scents. The jar was not only beautiful, but the throw of the candle was strong and delicious. Highly recommend.
Golden Honeycomb 3 Wick Candle- Would I buy it again? Absolutely! The scent is soft and kind. Every time I lit this candle, I felt a sense of comfort and sweetness that made my living room feel extra cozy. The scent is sweet, but not overpowering. I have added this scent to my list of "must re-buy".
Starlit Night Mini Fragrance Mist- Would I buy it again? Yes! This mist makes me feel elegant and sophisticated. Every time I used this scent I would get compliments from my husband. Smells like fancy perfume. Highly recommend it.
Golden Citrus and Vanilla Foam Hand Soap - Would I buy it again? Maybe. It was a nice scent (I kept it in my kitchen) but I didn't get much vanilla from it, it mostly smelled like orange-citrus notes.
Watermelon Lemonade Foam Hand Soap - Would I buy it again? Probably not. I really like the scent in other presentations, but for the hand soap I only perceived mostly the watermelon note, almost no lemonade.
Cucumber Melon Shower Gel - Would I buy it again? Yes! I have bought all the things in this scent (mist, lotion, shower get, etc) and I am pretty sure I won't be purchasing the others again except for the shower gel. It smells delicious and made me feel very clean and refreshed after my showers. I really liked this one.
A wealth of flowers mini perfume (Sephora) - Would I buy it again? Probably not. If you LOVE florals, I recommend you give it a shot. It was nice, but not the best perfume I have ever worn.
Champagne Toast Perfume Tester - Would I buy it again? Nope. I decided to give the tester a try to see if I would like to get the full bottle. However, after trying it, I think the fragrance mists are good enough for me. It was nice, but nothing life changing for me.
Limoncello Wallflower - Would I buy it again? Probably not. I expected more of a lemon scent, but it smelled more like lemon pie to me. Not the scent I expected. It was nice enough, but I probably won't purchase it again.
Merry Maple Bourbon Wallflower - Would I buy it again? Yes! As I mentioned in previous posts, this is one of my husband's favorite scents.
Sun Drenched Linen Wallflower - Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Makes the bedroom smell like fresh laundry. Very cozy and nice.
Iced Dragonfruit Tea - Would I buy it again? Definitely! This has become one of my favorite spring/summer scents in wallflower format. I am very happy I decided to try this one out when I received a coupon for a free wallflower refill a couple of months ago. Will definitely purchase again.
Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Treatment - Would I buy it again? I don't think so. I got this moisturizing cream for my hair because it was on sale, and although it did smell nice and worked nicely to help untangle my hair, it wasn't anything out of this world. The mission to seek a nice hair treatment continues for me.
Dove Deodorant - Would I buy it again? Yes! I have actually already re-purchased it. I love the scent and it keeps me nice and dry for more than 24 hours. Highly recommend.
Shea Moisture Curl Glam Conditioner and Sugarcane Extract Conditioner - Would I buy these products again? No. I got these products because they were on sale a couple of months ago, and although they helped keep my hair hydrated and nice, they were nothing to write home about. If anyone has any recommendations for nice conditioners for curly hair, please let me know :)
