January 2023 Empties:
- Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Apple Lime) - Would I buy it again? Probably not.
The Laneige sleeping masks are one of my favorite products, they definitely help keep my lips hydrated and soft. However, I definitely think Vanilla is the best flavor I have tried. The Apple Lime flavor is ok, but you can only really smell/taste the Apple flavor (I can't smell the lime) and it has a very synthetic smell to it. We (my husband and I) used it until it was over because the sleeping mask is not exactly cheap and the results were the same as with the other flavors we have tried, but I will probably not purchase this flavor again, since it wasn't my cup of tea.
- Bath and Body Works Shea Butter Hand Cream - Would I buy it again? YES! 100%
The weather has been very cold lately and my hands get dry often because we are running the heater constantly. Whenever I apply the hand cream, I can literally feel my hands tingle with joy at the hydration they receive from this hand cream. I bought a ton of different scents for the BBW hand creams, but the Shea Butter is the first one to be used at 100% and there is a reason for that: The smell is rich, sweet, and elegant. I definitely recommend you guys give this one a try whenever hand creams go on sale.
- Bath and Body Works Fall in Bloom Creamy Body Scrub - Would I buy it again? Potentially
Loved this body scrub texture, it definitely did feel like an exfoliating scrub and it left my skin super soft after my baths. The scent of Fall in Bloom is very nice, definitely THE perfect Fall smell if you love florals. The scent notes are Juicy Plum, Wild Blooms, and Velvet Moss. The only reason I would maybe reconsider buying this scrub has to do with how long the scent lingered on my skin. Even though in the shower it was all I could smell when I applied it, by the time I was blow drying my hair it was pretty much gone. Maybe it has something to do with my skin properties, but I personally prefer soaps I can smell on my skin at least a couple of hours after I finish my shower.
- Bath and Body Works Strawberry Snowflakes Body Cream - Would I buy it again? Nope, not really.
The scent notes of Strawberry Snowflakes are Juicy Strawberry, Whipped Cream, and Iced Bergamot. The scent of the cream directly from the container is sweet and gentle, I liked that a lot. However, after I applied it, the scent would be too faint for my standards. To be honest, this one feels like Strawberry Pound Cake's shy little cousin. It was a gentle smell and the hydration on my skin was exactly the same as with any of the Ultimate Hydration Body Creams, but the scent didn't really last long for me. I will pass on this scent in the future.
- Bath and Body Works Snowy Coconut Frost Wallflower Refill- Would I buy it again? Nope.
Used this one in our guest bedroom during the month of January. The room is fairly small, so the scent was strong whenever I walked in there. I normally love coconut scents, but this one bored me pretty quick, to be honest. Throw and strength were ok, but the coconut smell wasn't very tropical or relaxing for me because of the other ingredients used with this fragrance. I'll pass on this next time.
- Bath and Body Works Merry Maple Bourbon Wallflower Refill- Would I buy it again? Yes!
This scent was my husband's favorite for a while, so we decided to give it a try with the wallflower presentation. The throw of this one is amazing, and the scent is very sweet and inviting. I relate this smell to vacations, Christmas time, and relaxation. I think we discovered our December wallflower scent for 2023, will definitely purchase it again.
- Dr Teal's Collagen + Radiant Skin Milk Bath- Would I buy it again? Nope
I decided to try this product because Dr.Teal's bath salts are one of my favorite products to use in my daily baths. The scent of the Milk Bath is strong and it did really make all the water turn white, giving me the impression that I was in a warm bath of milk. The scent was very nice and I enjoyed it thoroughly. However, the price was too expensive for the amount of product it came with. I think that there are other options for my baths that give me a better experience without making me spend that much. It was worth a try, but I won't be purchasing this one again in the future.
- Bath and Body Works Fresh Lemon Waves 3 Wick Candle - Would I buy it again? No
When I smelled the candle in the store I was sure I would love this scent. The throw is very strong and after burning it for a bit, it became too overwhelming for my liking. Also, the candle didn't really smell that much of lemons, which truly disappointed me in the long run. There is a hint of citrus, yes, but I would say it smells strongly floral with a hint of a citrus smell, not necessarily lemons. It was nice and we used it all the way, but I will not purchase this scent in candle form again.
- Bath and Body Works Wildberry Tea Spritzer 3 Wick Candle- Would I buy it again? No
This candle was nice, don't get me wrong. I particularly loved how it looked lit, the packaging is very elegant and pretty. I would say it had a medium throw, not extremely strong, but after burning it for an hour it made my big living room have a touch of the scent everywhere. However, I am sorry to report that although I can definitely smell the berries, it ended up having a very strong floral scent that my husband was not particularly fond of. Because of that, we will not purchase it again, but I would say it is worth trying out if you like the smell of berries and flowers in general.
- Bath and Body Works Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla+ Hot Cocoa and Cream 3 Wick Candle- Would I buy it again? ABSOLUTELY!! 1000%!
This candle is AMAZING. I own both candles (Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla and Hot Cocoa and Cream) and I can testify that THIS candle smells like they had a beautiful sweet baby that wants to give you a warm and loving hug. The combination of cinnamon and hot cocoa is delicious and it makes me crave a warm soothing drink when the weather gets cold. We used this one up very quick because we just loved it so much. I will definitely buy this candle again in the future, I can't recommend it enough :)
