The last Sentinel ep
I just watched 'The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg' for the first time. In French. :D I'm surprised how much of it I understood, considering it's been 6 years since I studied the language (although I guess having already read the episode transcript - in English - probably helped.) The dubbing wasn't bad, actually.
One thing I don't get, why does Blair print out the entire thesis if 1. it's not finished and 2. still has Jim's name all over it. Surely that was bound not to be a good idea...
Anyway, it amused me that French!Jim calls Blair "Mon chef" (literally "my chief" or "my boss" in French) I didn't think the word was used like that as a nickname in France. Also interesting that in French it's 'La Sentinelle' - the feminine form. Not 'Le Sentinel'. Hmmm. The ep itself was renamed 'Best-Seller'.
