Although Cameron isn't nearly as frequent a visitor as some, he can be found now and then at the Hub, nursing a whiskey in the early evening (as long as the good liquor from Rapture lasts, he'll be taking advantage of the fact). He tends to call it a night earlier than most, an old habit he's carried over to island life if only to keep it a habit for when he goes home. Besides, there are the boats to work on, nearly ready to put out to sea even if there's no one to row with him, and he likes to do that in the mornings, partly for the way work always makes him feel better about starting the day and partly because after Barnes' conditioning class, even he wants to go pass out for an hour. (He doesn't, but he also doesn't want to go out and do any handiwork either.)
The easy, quiet but occupied nature of the Hub makes it more his speed than the other two options on the island, and he thinks it's a little busier than usual right now, in fact, something he lays at the door of the recent events on the island. Nothing, he supposes, makes people more in the mood for a drink than being attacked by demonic toys. Even without keeping any of his own, he wound up in the fray, something he's less than thrilled about. At least it's over, though, and he and Jenny and the rest got out largely unharmed.
He's trying to think just how the hell he'd explain something like that to Tyler when he spots a familiar face and smiles, lifting a hand in a wave. "Erica," he says. "Fancy seeing you here." It's not a surprise at all, really, especially not compared to the fact that, of all the people in this place he could find himself befriending, Zuckerberg's ex would be so high on the list.
