An unexpected moment

This morning I went out the van to get something. As I opened the door, something fell to the driveway - as I bent over to pick it up I almost stepped on a beautiful yellow butterfly. He was too damp to fly (the van is parked in the shade next to the grass). So I eventually coaxed him onto my hand and put him in the sunlight on the top-post part of the hedge on the other side of the house. His wings must of dried, because he's not there anymore.

It was just a neat moment.
