I have instituted “Omelette Sundays” at our house to learn how to make a consistently decent looking tri-fold omelette. Yesterday was the inaugural event, and I made 2 omelettes. One came out close to perfect, the other was salvaged but nowhere near the proper tri-fold. I started with a simple cheese omelette, but intend on experimenting with a few standard types (bacon/cheese, western, veggie) as Omelette Sundays continue. It’s something to do…
M also made some homemade jalapeno popper last night with some jalapenos from his professor’s garden. Although the prep work for those took him over an hour, it was completely worth it in my opinion. Cream cheese, bacon bits, and red jalapenos. Amazing!
I wish I would have taken some pictures to share...
