The reason for this journal for what I want to keep track of is to see how often I'm getting up early and how often I'm not. I made my weight entry this morning but forgot about the traffic report

I think I get up half the time when in reality it's sometimes more and sometimes less. I can look back and see trends on whether or not I got up and started my day early. It will say a lot about my attitude.
Also, the journaling helps keep me up on what I'm doing as far as walking and running and tennis.
Is there something you'd prefer to hear about? I'm pleased that your reading though.
I didn't really dram anyone would read it and I just started making entries to have entries and to keep track of my schedule and walks.
Thank you for the input and checking in. I was debating whether or not to put in this morning the two dreams I remember from last night. With your input it has told me to definitely put them in.
On the schedule thing I decided to vote here this morning and get in later. I'll make my journal entry when I get in later.
a lot of people also have more than one journal (i don't because it's enough for me to have one) - to log weight loss, their babies lives, etc.
i make a lot of private entries too -- only ones i can see. so if i'm guaging something personal, i still see it in my journal, but the more interesting stuff is open to my friends.
I guess I should look at some of the features. I didn't know about the private entries.
I can see the use of more than one journal. The raunchy side of me would have it's own and make comments I wouldn't want anyone to associate with me. Then of couse I'd accidently say the wrong thing logged in as the wrong person.
By the way, before you mentioned your view of LJ, I didn't see it as a big community to interact with people. I'm not sure if the majority of people would hold that opinion either. I think more people would think of it as a way to interact with their small community. Since your journal is friends only you're interacting with only a small part of the LJ community too.
However, with all that said, what you say is going to effect how I treat this journal in the future.
well let's see... you have an online journal where people can comment on your posts... how can you not see that as interactive?
My journal became friends only because some jackass stranger started to harrass me a couple years ago. It also helps that about 75% of the people on my friends list I've met in person. So for me, it is easier to interact with just them.
You don't have to be added to my friends list to read. I've added people to my friend's list so I can read their journals more easily by clicking on their name from my user info.
I said I didn't expect comments. I still solicit them and enjoy them. It just surprises me when I do get them.
true. but i wouldn't have ever come across your journal had you not added me and commented in mine. there's like 2 million users on this thing and i never go out looking for new journals to read. public or otherwise. :P

I'm not sure how often I'm going to want to read about east coast traffic or when you wake up in the morning, ya know?

I hope to be on the 75% side instead of the 25% side some day.
