"The Glass Parade"-Cary Brothers. One of my new favorite artists, along with Sherwood, The Perishers and The Weepies.
So, it's been 12 weeks. Not much has changed. 'Cept my major. I'm now an M & M major. Nope, not the candy. Microbiology and Molecular Biology. It's basically the pre-med major at UCF. Although, I still want to be a PA, I just don't feel like taking 10 classes about Health Economics, Health Finance, Health Law, Quality of Managed Care, so on and so forth. Not only do I not want to take them, but PA schools don't care if I take them. They'd much rather me take stuff like immunology, genetics, and all that good hard-core science stuff that I'll have to take with my new major. I did this yesterday, along with my friend Matt, who changed his major from CJ also to M & M. I swear this wasn't something, like, "You know what'd be FUN!? Let's both change our majors to the same thing!" Although, it may have looked that way to the person that took our forms at the registrar's office.
Spring Break was dull, except for the day I got to go park-hop at Disney with Christina. Theme parks with Christina are always a blast, this time no exception. Also? I drove home from Disney on I-4, 408 and 417. WOO! That's the longest distance I've ever driven on highways (About 30 miles?). Yeah, I turn 20 next month, haha.
Over the break, I discovered a new comedian/author/columnist? His name is Aaron Karo, and his column is "Ruminations". Go read it, it's awesome. Comes out every other Monday. I bought, read, and finished his first book last night, Ruminations on College Life. It was great. Only 100-some-odd pages. But, I discovered him a month too late. He was at UCF last month.
This weekend is my once-a-semester trip up to UF. I'm still trying to decide whether to skip trig and head out 2 hours earlier in an effort to beat traffic. We'll see.
71 days until New Zealand. I really need to send the copies of my passport and insurance card to the ISV office.
My week's going well so far. 'Cept I probably failed today's chem quiz. I don't know, I haven't discussed it with PJ yet. I swear those quizzes are the bane of my existence. And, my physics professor got himself a microphone. It was really unnecessary (<---Took me three tries to spell that. I'm losing my skills, apparently.) seeing as there's only...50? 60? people that regularly attend class. And everyone could hear him just fine before. Now it's just loud. And Russian. And those two don't mix well at 7:30 AM. I think I have an A in all of my classes, except for physics. I'm borderline B/C, there. Ughhhh, I hate that class. I can't believe I started college wanting to be a physics major.
