I had a dream last night that I was in Alex's apartment (but it didn't look like any place I've seen in real life before) and his housemate had a gun. We were in the basement and there were two TVs. The housemate shot the gun through the smaller TV. Then I told her that I didn't like guns and asked her to put it away. So she waved it around in my face and I went to another room to find Alex. Alex said "ready to go?" and headed out the door.
I followed him into a hallway, then he went one way and I went into my own (again, never seen it before) apartment. As I walked in, I was thinking that my apartment didn't look lived in, almost like a hotel, and I was confused. I was also suddenly in just a towel. So I walked through my apartment and noticed a strange man drinking something in my kitchen. He looked at me and came toward me. He was a short, old, white man.
I got scared, asked who he was and what he was doing here. I said "please leave, please don't hurt me, just leave." Then I started walking toward the door, but I couldn't move very fast. I turned around to look at the guy and now there was a really tall black man standing with him. They were following me just as slow as I was walking and just smiling.
So I tried to call Alex's name because I knew he was waiting in the lobby around the corner. But I couldn't make more than a hoarse whimpering sound. I kept moving toward the door and the men kept following me. Finally, I was able to make a little more noise and softly yelled "Alex!" Then he came running through the door saying "What? What's wrong?"
Then I woke up to Alex leaning over me saying "Is everything okay?" Turns out I was whimpering in my sleep and then yelled "Alex!" Alex was asleep next to me and woke up when I yelled. When I dreamt that he ran through the door and said "What? What's wrong?" he was actually saying that in real life. I was in some middle state where his reaction became part of my dream and then I finally woke up.
Alex was very proud that he saved me and then we went back to sleep.
