Basically this is my life right now:
Sunday: Work…usually 12-9 or 1-6 or whatever…basically all day.
Monday: Work 8-5 at Amazon and 6-10 at Anthro, go home, eat, go to bed
Tuesday: Work 8-5 at Amazon and 6-10 at Anthro, go home, eat, go to bed
Wednesday: Work 8-5 at Amazon and 6-10 at Anthro, go home, eat, go to bed
Thursday: Work 8-5 at Amazon, go home, veg out, eat, fall asleep on top of my bed watching tv online.
Friday: Work 8-5 (probably haven’t showered) go home, nap for 2 hours, eat, shower, get picked up by Dana, drink, pass out 2am.
Saturday: Wake up, eat breakfast…actually have day off either be super lazy and sleep all day or do something with someone. Saturday night..probably stay in..but maybe go out depending on how crazy Friday night was.
I don’t want to say life sucks because it doesn’t, it’s just annoying..and too busy. Basically Sunday-Wed my life is blacked out and then Thursday I’m too tired to do anything same with Saturday. I am finally starting to make some money that doesn’t turn right around and go into someone else’s pocket so that’s nice. I have started the long and disappointing process of looking for an apartment…hope something will come up soon! Lucia and I are supposed to go look at a place on 3rd west and Boston St. on Thursday evening and I HOPE it’s not taken. At this point as long as the inside is nice I don’t really care what the outside looks like. Its $1025 with most of the utilities included and I wouldn’t have to change my commute to work!
In other news…I applied for a permanent job at Amazon, in the apparel department. It’s for the same position I’m doing now, except in apparel, I really hope I get it! I am now having fantasies of being salaried, paid sick days, vacations…MONEY…(I have no idea what I’d get paid but I think it’d be pretty good) I could quit Anthropologie even though I keep telling myself I’m going to still work because of the discount…who knows, I’d actually probably quit. My goal has been to get out by the holiday, but I’ll most likely make myself stay until AT LEAST Christmas or after. Ew.
I have also found two hats for winter time that I tried on and don’t look totally weird/hideous on my head. I’ve been in a very spendy mood lately. I keep saying this but really it’s true: I HAVE NO FALL/WINTER CLOTHES. For the past 4 years I’ve worn ugly jeans and ratty sweats and a big t-shirts. A very attractive picture I’m painting, I know. So I really do have to buy some “work” attire and just cute clothes in general…no more frumpy Lis!
What is a good winter shoe that is not a boot or a “sneaker” to wear with jeans..I hate most shoes so this is hard…
