Bike!
I'm so lame. I've hardly posted the entire time I've been off on leave for surgery. Oh well... what can ya do? Anyhoo... well Today Oblio and I went out to a bike shop and bought myself a Bicycle!! It's a really nice one too. I've decided that buying a bike out-ranked fixing the car. We can car pool for a little while... I need me some exercise, and since I can't do anything upper body... biking it is. We went on a bike ride tonight after Ob's uke lesson and though it kicked my ass and really made me realize how out of shape I am as it was just a leisurely little ride and I'm all huffin' and puffin'... it felt good to get out and get moving nonetheless. I'll be excited to start exercising and using the bike paths here in Springfield/Eugene. We really do live in a beautiful area... it's quite breathtaking when you get out of the car and off of the streets. Can't believe I've lived here as long as I have and have never been on the bike paths other than walking them around alton baker. *shakes head at myself* Well now we change that. I'm resolved to use my spendy shiney new bike and peddle my ass into shape 'cause lord knows the dogs ... they be barkin' at me tomorrow and we needs to whip them into some new shapes! heh.
