It's a Killer...
I bought the new Killers album a few days ago and didn't really have a chance to listen to it until last night. Now I admit that I'm some what of a snob when it comes to music and my tastes are centered mostly on pop-punk. That being said, I really enjoyed the Killers first album Hot Fuss and was anticipating an enjoyable hour or so of new music by a good band. Instead what I got was an hour or so of what sounded to me like one horribly looong song.
Now on the plus side some of the songs are kind of catchy but if after 20 minutes of listening to a midly upbeat song I feel like I want to off myself, it's time to take the cd out and put something else in.
For now I'll stick to there first effort and just hope that they put their dreams of winning prom queen on hold and get back to kicking ass on the next album.
