I'm gonna call you Mr. Risk from now on. I saw transformers today. Does Japan have transformers? And how is the language barrier out there?

Yeah, there`s a big to do about it out here. Advertisements rampant and all that fun stuff. Harry Potter is pretty big out here too.

The barrier varies from place to place. The main hub of bilingual Japanese is, of course, Tokyo. That`s not so bad, seeing as Tokyo is like a thousand different huge ass districts. Everywhere else, everyone knows a little English, but not enough to stand on. With that, I`m glad I learned as much Japanese as I did. They`re funtastic Engrish combined with my embarressingly small amount of Japanese makes for some really hilarious times in communicating.

All in all, I]m glad I was good at that game where people try to guess what you`re miming. That`s the secret to communication out here.

im at an internet cafe in shibuya and you are not picking up your phone. granted, this cafe rocks and i can always go home in a couple hours and see the baseball game in yokohoma tomorrow with the yokosuka group.. but i wanted to hang in atsugi with you tonight! so i guess ill wait a little bit longer and see if you can call so we can hang out for the night!

if not... at least you know what happened
