When it rains it pours
Well, first I have no job and now it looks like I have two. Thing is, they won't mix very well. I had my 7-11 interview at noon. All went well and the manager said that after my background check comes back at the begining of the week we'll schedual me to start working. Okay, sounds good, right? Then, at two, I had my Securitas interview. The difference between the LV office and the SA office are so vast it's not even funny. This office is run so much better and the people there are so nice. Anyway, the woman there was glad to have a former employee there, since it means less training, and she's scheduled us (my brother and I) to be in at nine tomorrow morning to fill out the rest of the paperwork and to go get our sherif's cards. Thing is, most of the posts she has for us right now are night jobs. Both the 7-11 and Securitas pay at least $8.00 an hour, but at the security job I have the chance to find posts later that pay $10.00 and up. I guess I'll just have to tell the 7-11 guy I'm not interested anymore. I would have liked to have had two jobs (well, not like, but it would have been a good idea) but I guess I just can't. I didn't want to go back to security, but it'll do for now. I'm just glad to be having a paycheck coming in again. Takes a load off my mind.
