Third time's a charm?
Took my mom to see The Producers tonight at Paris. It's not even one of my fave musicals, yet I've now seen it three times! This time Tony Danza was the headliner. I used to love "Who's the Boss" when I was a kid, so it was kind of fun to see him up there singing and dancing. All and all, it was pretty good. Better than the second time I saw it. Plus, both tickets were free, so it's not like it would be a big loss even if it sucked *LOL* I just wish I worked for the Venitian instead, so I could see Phantom for free!
I bought a new laptop last night!!!! I've never had a new computer before in my life. My computer is like ten years outdated, slow as all hell, and some of the keys are sticking. It's hard to be a writer, to get into a grove, and then realize that half of the letters are missing from your words! So, I took the plunge and did it last night. I've never bought anything so expensive before. With taxes it was just over $700. I nearly had a panic attack after I hit the button to finalize it and then it hit me how much I'd just spent. But, I know that I'll be happy when I go and pick it up at the store tomorrow (saved myself $20 by walking the three blocks to pick it up myself) and bring it home. I can't wait!!!!
