Well, that didn't take long. Papa's already been told he can never come back into the electronics store because he wouldn't stop flirting with the employees.

I'm not really bothered by that, though. He was more of a nuisance than anything while I was looking at computers.

Right. Actually. I don't think my dad's dumb enough to not realise that electricity mixed with water is bad. He just...destroys things and tries to "fix" them.

Oh, he definitely gets it now.

Breaks a lot of stuff, though. Usually pins it on me and makes me fix it, like I'm the sodding toaster expert.

Does he tell you that he's teaching you how to be an adult? Because that's a pretty common way of parents justifying being lazy.
