I'm glad the fair's over. It seems like that project just went on forever.

Enough about that, though, it looks like it's starting to snow out! It's not very heavy yet, but maybe it'll pick up by the time it's time to go home for the holiday. Speaking of that: Haruhi, I forgot to ask when you'd be able to come over.

→ Kid, ☃ the FUCKING weather, → Haruhi

It wasn't nearly forever, Maka; that is quite the exaggeration.

Do you have plans for the Winter holiday?

Just Haruhi coming over. A friend of ours wants to meet Uncle Ryoji and she doesn't want to be around when that happens.

Isn't it rather...odd to have someone meet her father without her being present?

It would be if our friend or Uncle Ryoji were particularly normal.

I think they'll be okay, they can talk about how wonderful it is to be a daddy or something.

...They can discuss the wonders of fatherhood?

...Our friend decided that he's Haruhi's dad. Then he went and decided he was mine, too.

...I find it...highly unlikely that Death Scythe would approve of that.

You know very well Papa doesn't approve of anything when it comes to me and some boy.

I don't really care either way. As far as I'm concerned, they're never going to meet each other.

[Oh he knows that all too well.]

Y-yes. That is what I would expect.

If it isn't too imprudent to ask...how can someone simply decide that a person is their offspring?

kid8dik November 30 2010, 06:16:43 UTC
It is highly illogical and also quite impossible given the perceived age gap. Presuming that this friend is a student here.

And cousins share a common grandparent, not father, making it even more convoluted.
