I'm fine. After your dad stopped freaking out and Kaoru made it here, it was mostly okay. As soon as we switched back and he rushed home, we held each other for... iunno, I lost track of time.

I'm used to it. It's a lot better than where I ended up, anyway. They kept...shoving puppies at me and there was nothing sensible to wear.

I guess so. But at least a place that was old and falling apart wouldn't have such an oppressive, fussy atmosphere. They were worse than my dad.
