(no subject)
Ok, so I have been living in my apartment for about a month now and my roommates moved from an apartment that was a nightmare: horribly infested with roaches and they got robbed. Awesome, right? Well, apparently when they packed up to move into this one, they brought friends. We are now seeing tiny roaches more frequently as they probably brought some eggs in their stuff. GROSS! I am freaking paranoid now cos every site I read claims that roaches are near impossibly to get rid of and even if you don't see them, it doesn't mean that you don't have them. I shudder at this thought. I don't like them now and they are less than a 1/4 inch...I can't imagine having 2 inch beasts roaming around! I guess tomorrow morning I am going to clean the kitchen like mad and seal up all my food that isn't already sealed. I'm so grossed out right now. Seeing just a couple wasn't good, but it wasn't terrible...Now I have seen a total of about 7-10 today. One on my bedroom floor, one on the kitchen floor, 5 or so in the bottom of the trash after removing the bag... YUCK! We haven't seen any in the day time, yet. I have only seen them scurrying away from a dark spot when I expose them to light. Websites tell me this is a good sign. I'm terrified though. I don't want to have them here. It's icky. I guess I need to go to sleep so I can get up and clean, clean, clean!
