This past weekend was pretty good.
On Friday, I went to a club down here in Tucson called DV8. My friend that I work with wanted to go, so all of my work buddies plus my roommate and 2 other girls went. The night was eventful, lemme tell ya. We're not even in the parking lot when two drunk guys come over and one of them asked where Scott's car was. First of all, I don't even KNOW a Scott (Well, Scott Summers, but that doesnt count cause he's not real haha), and I doubt anyone I was with knew either.. The thing was though, the guy asking WAS Scott, but he was just wasted. His friend, also drunk but not nearly enough, had to come and drag him away. Lovely start to our night, right? What's great is that wasn't the last time we had an encounter with them either.
We stood in line for about 20 minutes, speculated about a random chain on the wall, and then paid the ridiculous cover fee. Just WHY is it $15? Jeez. But anyways, we all of course went to the dance floor.. it was packed. Soon after, our two favorite drunk guys came and danced with one of my work buddies, Triana, and my roomie. Well, not so much danced as humped their butts. 'Specially the one all over Triana; He must've been a dog in his past life. Noah had to go over and save her.. meaning he went behind Drunk Guy #1 and danced with him, haha. That scared him off.
This one guy though, who was the only guy polite enough to as for a dance, was hella TALL. I had to look UP to see his face. Like, I turned around and I was staring at his chest. It was crazy. But ohwell, he was a loser. 8D I mean, a 23 year old at an 18+ club picking up girls? Go to a regular club, thank you.
Afterwards, we headed over to Denny's after the club closed at 2,and ohman, that car ride was interesting. There was a van full of men that kept giving us catcalls and mouthing, "Where are you going? :DDD". Plus, when we both reached a stop light, they were getting ready to get out of their car and come talk to us. Creepy. We got out of their quickly, of course. The fun didn't stop there though, cause we sat a next to a bunch of drunk hispanics who had THE most vulgar mouths evaaar. haha. They were entertaining for the first few minutes, but it definitely got old fast.
Saturday, I went up to Phoenix. Didn't really do anything, just chilled with my family. Sunday however..
(:!
That Foo Fighters concert was amazing. Probably will be one of the best concerts I will ever go to, even though I had cheap seats. They defintely made me more of a fan. And adding to that, Against Me! opened which was awesome. They played almost all of their last album and a few of their older songs. I love the vocal's voice. P: And then Serj Tankien (ex. System of a Down... or did they not break up? I still don't know) went after them. He's a good performer too. You could tell the crowd loved him, as they should cause he was amusing. :D The onyl thing that sucked about this concert didn't have to do with the concert itself, more so after the concert.. I had to drive back to Tucson that night, cause I didn't feel like getting up at 5 and be groggy for the hour and 15 minute drive. So I just drove back at 1am. :D Which wasn't the smartest thing to do, but at least Jen was there, otherwise I might've fell asleep at the wheel, lol.
