18. Is Modern Culture Ruining Childhood? This feels like something that people have been worrying about forever. Going by my observations of my grandchildren, they are still children having good childhoods even with the new technologies to which they have access.
19. What’s the Most Memorable Thing You Ever Got in the Mail? S and I once received a package containing what had once been frozen turkeys, which our sister in law had sent from Minnesota. (Her own home-grown and home-butchered turkeys.) Unfortunately she did not send them overnight delivery, and by the time they got here they had at least partly thawed and we didn't feel safe eating them. It felt like a huge waste to have to throw them away.
