(no subject)
It was partly sunny this morning when I went for a walk, so although the temperature wasn't particularly warm (I wore two long sleeved shirts) I enjoyed being outside. This afternoon is grey, gloomy, and depressing though. It's only 4:30 pm and already I feel like I need to go around the house closing blinds and turning on lights.
S and I used to enjoy sitting on the couch under a blanket watching movies or shows on days like this, but I just can't seem to muster up any enthusiasm for sitting out there in the living room without her so I spend most of my time at home sitting at my desk watching movies or shows on my computer instead of on the couch. (My computer chair is very comfortable, and there's a heated mat under my desk so it's cosy enough, just lonely.)
I started a new knitted hat today, again starting from the top, so again I had to carefully watch a YouTube video for left handed knitters so I could get the circular cast-on correct. I might only have to follow the video half a dozen more times before I can do it from memory.
