11. What Challenges Have You Overcome? One of the bigger ones in the past was separating from my now ex husband and setting up a household with my three daughters as a single parent. Another, now more than ten years ago, was putting all my household stuff into storage, moving to the US on a student visa and starting grad school as a very mature-aged student compared to all the 20-somethings in my class. And now I have the challenge of continuing to be alive and trying to build some kind of new life alone now that S is no longer in this world.
