puppy update
I did some soul searching and decided that my friend was ultimately the best owner for the puppy. She's WAY there (in terms of being ready for the responsibility) and she has much more time and flexibility than I do to give the puppy an amazing life.
Plus, not to sound overly self-centered, but I'm really enjoying having a stable life (in all aspects) for the first time since... college? I'm not so eager to let this freedom go as it turns out. My stomach is no longer in knots and I don't have any regrets.
I'll certainly get a dog one day... but that day isn't today.
