Happy 25th to me!
Today is my 25th birthday and I have to say, it's off to a rocking start! My mom called and sang a bit of the "happy birthday" song to me (my mom does NOT sing, so this was a surprise), I got a compliment via email from a co-worker, and it turns out that about 20 of my favorite NYC people will be congregating at one of my favorite restaurants tonight for my birthday dinner.
I'm in a good place right now. I feel more financially secure than I ever have as an adult, I live in NYC which I love, I have amazing friends and an amazingly wonderful family, and I even love my roommate.
There are bumps along the road, for sure. But I'm in a wonderful place and I feel like I know myself now better than I ever have before. It's peaceful :).
So here's to 25 years of discovery, and looking forward to at least 25 more.
