Quick update, move & job
#1 - It's snowing like a bitch here right now. Been snowing since I left my house around 8:30ish. Starting to stick. Guess who is breaking in her snow boots tomorrow?! ME! (Guess who didn't wear them today and instead wore some other boots that aren't waterproof? Me! :( )
#2 - I'm all moved in to my current apt, but not unpacked, see #3
#3 - We're def. searching for another place to live, and I'll be moving with a month/two to a new apt. By "I'll be moving" I mean "I'll be paying big burly men to move me". Totally worth that $$ to not have to deal with the hassle, imho.
#4 - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my job so far. Same for the co-workers!
I almost put #6 next as I'm a bit sleep-deprived. Oops.
I'm enjoying it here and have no doubt that I'll really, really like living here long-term. I'm eager to move to a new apt and actually fully unpack, and am happy I took this job (as opposed to the counter-offer from another NYC agency).
So far, so good!
I'll post a small "moving to NYC" album on Facebook soonish, so if you're not friends with me there, friend me please!
Oh - and leaving NC at 1:45am to get to NYC sucks, but it's the way to avoid most of the traffic. Superbowl Sunday was a LONG day (didn't go to bed until 10:30 that night).
